Accommodation at Nameri National Park

11 Twin bedded accommodation in jungle tents and Chung cottages with attached and non-attached toilets. and an additional 4 alpine tents with sleeping bags.

Facility for pitching your own tents
Adequate toilet and bathing facilities.
Linen blankets, etc provided.

Food
The Camp Canteen provides basic, simple wholesome food, suitable for all palates.

Best weather season
October to April.

Clothing
November to February: Heavy pullovers and/or jackets for morning and evening. Cotton wear during the day. Be sure to cany a sun hat and suitable canvas shoes, boots or sandals for wading in slippery streams. Sufficient change of clothing recommended. Lighter clothing will suffice during the other months.

Angling KiJ
Sturdy equipment with reel capable of holding atleast 200 mtrs. Of 0.35 mm line. Lure weight should be around 20-25 gms.nd mostly definitely include a few plugs. Permission must first be obtained from the Divisional Forest Officer at Dolaguri, at Tezpur for regulated angling. Please cany three passport sized photographs for the purpose.

How to get there

Well cormected by road :from Guwahati (5 hours), Kaziranga National Park (2.5 hours), Tezpur (1 hour) and Jorhat (4.5 hours). The nearest airport is located at Tezpur. From Tezpur come to Balipara. Take the road to Bomdilla I Tawang. At the "Hathi Gate" turn right, then left. You are home.
