Denwa Backwater Escape

Satpura National Park

About Denwa Backwater Escape

Denwa Backwater Escape is located in Satpura National Park, overlooking the hypnotic backwaters of a dam built on the Denwa River. The area is known as Madhai. It is built on 10 acres of forested ground along the river, with the national park across the river, which is reached by boat and then by jeeps to go deeper into the forest. The Denwa River, grasslands across the river, and undulating Pachmari hills are all visible from the resort.

The lodge was created primarily using native resources such as stone and baked tiles, although it has a contemporary safari style design. Unique leather safari furniture, crisp cotton upholstery, linen, and local crafts are featured in the rooms. The main building and the pool are furnished with antique iron furniture and handcrafted wooden furniture made from reclaimed furniture and sleeper wood.
The lodge estate has a unique undulating environment, water bodies, indigenous woodland with a diverse flora and fauna, and spectacular river views.
