Taj Vivanta Sawai Madhopur Lodge

Ranthambore National Park

About Taj Vivanta Sawai Madhopur Lodge

Sawai Madhopur Lodge is a heritage hideaway nestled in the wildness of Ranthambore National Park, one of India’s most recognised national parks and a Royal Bengal Tiger kingdom. Spread over 16 beautiful green acres, the hotel was created in 1930 as a hunting lodge for the Royal Family of Jaipur. Guests are welcomed into this opulent mansion with promises of jungle excursions and princely legends. The crescent-shaped Art Deco mansion is a delight for period architectural aficionados, with its brilliant colours, geometric lines, chequered flooring, verandas, and characteristic jalidaar patterns. Every detail conjures a regal past, with the added comfort of modern facilities, from the Jaipur coat of arms to royal pictures in the suites to taxidermy trophies of wild animals on the walls.
